Learn about Cherubs Pre-schools

Cherubs’ was originally formed in April 2001 and has been under new management since January 2016.

We are very proud of our settings.

Cherubs Pre-School Friends Meeting House was awarded Outstanding in all areas of in their Ofsted inspection in June 2018 and have also achieved their 3rd Quality Mark Accreditation Award.

Cherub Pre-School Hornchurch Methodist Church was awarded Good in all areas in their Ofsted inspection in May 2018.

Cherub Pre-School Elm Park Children’s Centre was awarded Good in all areas in their Ofsted inspection in October 2018.

Cherubs Preschools have also previously taken part in many Local Authority Projects including:

It is our policy NOT to use photographs of children in our care on this website without the prior written consent of the parent / carer.

All staff members have been chosen for their experience, empathy for children and knowledge of Early Years Childcare and education, as well as qualifications. All staff members are trained in First Aid.

All staff members have to undergo rigorous employment checks such as references, Disclosure and Barring Service checks, full employment history, identity checks and so on and no unchecked person, student, volunteer, or individual ever has any unsupervised access to any child in our care.

The Statutory Guidance for Children’s Learning and Development  brings together Birth to Three Matters and the Curriculum Guidance for the Early Years Foundation Stage (2014) (‘EYFS’) and our provision reflects the 4 key Themes and 16 Commitments of the EYFS. Children access this curriculum through 3 Prime and 4 Specific Areas as follows…
